Collaborate with the school’s leadership team, staff, families and students to develop and implement the school’s social emotional learning program
· Identify at risk youth and assess sources of academic concerns, including factors in the school, home, and community which interfere with school success
· Determine and implement appropriate intervention strategies and goals for students who require support to succeed behaviorally and academically
· Provide individualized and group counseling services to address specific student needs that impact their ability to be successful in their classrooms;
· Provide crisis intervention and manage child abuse reporting, including supporting mandated reports when needed
· Serve as a liaison between the school, family, and community organizations to foster communication, mobilize resources, and support educational performance and social-emotional progress
